Maremma crossed with Pyrenees/Mix

We have 3 sibling Marema/Pyrenese/Mix LGDs as well as their half Pyr mother.

We would simply not be able to raise sheep, goats and free range pigs and poultry here without these dogs. They also guard our herd of Highland Cattle, but the cattle themselves do a pretty good job of that as well.

During lambing and kidding the LGDs help to clean things up and keep the mothers' back ends well cleaned. These dogs are amazingly sensitive and intelligent and extraodinarily gentle with children and their stock.

They make friends with any guests easily as long as they sense no hostility or odd behavior. The female sibling is an exception to this though as she seems to be on setting all the time and is much slower to accept new faces. She eventually comes around and then is very friendly and curious about visitors, but still wary.
